Retina is nice, but as a graphics designer, sometimes you really do want to see each and every pixel. I love the hardware but feel it is a premium price for the guts of the beast. Otherwise I've got a 24" monitor (1920x1080) that runs VMWare Fusion with 2880x1800 when in BootCamp and at a desk.
